Immigration, family and employment law, done differently

A modern law firm.

Lawyery is a virtual first boutique practice founded by solicitors Crystal Dias and Chris Dias. We act for employers, entrepreneurs, families and individuals across the UK in immigration, family and employment matters. We use technology and AI where it makes sense to, leaving human skills and professional expertise to focus on the areas where they are most needed. Book online, meet online, and work with a named solicitor from first call to decision.

We don't just practise law. We practise it smarter.

Why Lawyery

Digital where it saves you money.
Human where it matters.

Most law firms added a website to an old way of working. We built the firm around a new one. Appointments are self booked online, consultations happen wherever you are, and documents move through secure digital channels. That model cuts overheads, and the saving shows up in our fees.

What has not changed is the lawyering. Every matter is run by a named, qualified solicitor. We use technology, including carefully supervised AI tools, to work faster and more thoroughly, never to replace the judgement you are paying for. Immigration and family matters carry real emotional weight, and we act like we know it.

The next chapter

Becoming AI-native, without losing the signature.

The most advanced law firms in the world now work one way: the machine does the first pass of the work, and senior lawyers supervise it. That inversion is what makes fixed fees honest and turnaround fast. Lawyery is building towards it deliberately, and in the open.

Our AI-assisted work runs through Countersigned, a five-layer supervision process that ends in an immutable audit record and a named solicitor's signature. Our sister venture Legalaid builds free AI tools for the public and for practitioners, and you will find them throughout this site. NativeLaw, the certification and infrastructure behind this badge, launches soon. And the thinking behind all of it is declared where anyone can hold us to it: our manifesto and full thesis live at professed.ai. Read the thesis →

The machine drafts. A named lawyer signs. The record proves it.

What this means for you

Faster preparation and honest fixed fees, because the production cost of routine drafting has fallen and we price accordingly.

Your file is never put into unsupervised public AI tools. The courts have warned that careless AI use can put legal professional privilege at risk; supervised infrastructure is how we protect yours.

Every piece of work that reaches you carries a named solicitor's signature, and a record of the supervision behind it.

How it works

From booking to decision, in four steps.

1

Book online

Choose a time that suits you through our online booking system. No phone queues, no call backs. All appointments are booked online.

2

Meet your solicitor

Your consultation happens online by default, wherever you are in the UK or the world. In person meetings at our Chancery Lane office are available by prior arrangement. Not all appointments are free of charge; any fee is made clear when you book, before you commit to anything.

3

Get a clear plan and a fixed fee

You leave the consultation knowing where you stand, what we recommend, and what it will cost. No open ended hourly billing surprises.

4

We do the work

Your named solicitor prepares, checks and submits your matter, and keeps you informed until the decision arrives.

Ethical practice

Immigration advice with a code.

Too many people have been let down by poor immigration advice. That is why our co-founder Chris Dias created the 10 Non-Negotiables, a code of ethics for immigration lawyers, and why Lawyery became the first firm in the UK to sign up to it.

We hold ourselves to it on every matter: honest assessments, transparent fees, and no promises we cannot keep. No lawyer can guarantee the outcome of an application or appeal, and you should be wary of anyone who says otherwise.

What the code means for you

You get a realistic view of your prospects before you spend money, a clear written scope of what we will and will not do, and advice that serves your interests rather than our invoice.

For every member of society

Law that works for the life you actually live.

The legal system was not designed with everyone in mind. Our practice is. We have built dedicated services for communities the standard checklist tends to forget, with reasonable adjustments as standard and no judgment anywhere in the process.

For the LGBTQ+ community

Safe, inclusive, expert

Same-sex partner visas, gender recognition in immigration documents, family formation, and workplace discrimination claims, handled by a firm where you can be yourself from the first minute.

LGBTQ+ legal services →

For disabled clients

Accessible by design

A remote-first service built to be accessible from the ground up: flexible scheduling, accessible formats and meeting rooms, extra time as standard, and advice on how disability affects immigration and employment matters.
